Please find a few recommendations to increase your chance of being selected as an au pair and also find the right family for YOU ❤️
- What is an au pair? Have a look before you complete your profile. You need to understand how it works before to make any application
- Destination: Which country should I pick? Think thoroughly about where you would like to go considering visa regulations. Once your pick the destination(s), wise to think about the area that you would like to live (country, city, capital city)
- Describe yourself: Write a small paragraph about yourself, where you come from, your family… More you say the likelihood to find the right family will be here.
- Why you would like to become an au pair: Show your motivation, describe your project. Highlight your past experiences if any looking after children. Remember, you are not just here for travelling but also here to look after the most precious gift that a parent can have.
- Your requirements: Think about the type of host family that you like to be with? Number of children? Activities? Language course? If any of those requirements change like date or country, please make sure that your profile is updated.
- Attach a picture. It is a bit like meeting face to face. It is nice for the family to see who they are talking to
- Make application to families: Do not hesitate, personalize your message, summarize your experiences, ask questions.
