Requirements for Au Pair
- You are aged between 18 and 30;
- Not married or have children
- Have to participate in a language course
- Health/travel insurance is recommended for au pair
- Visa may be required for non-EU au pairs or extra conditions like sufficient funds to cover your stay
- No specific au pair contract is available, however an employment domestic contract is needed and may differs from region to region
Requirements for Family
- There are one or more children between 3 and under 18 living in your home
- The au pair must have her own room
- Au Pair needs to participate in a language course
- You must have Swiss citizenship
- Daily working hours should not exceed 30 hours per week
- Au pair is entitled to receive between €530 & €860 Euros per month
- Allow for some extra spending like mobile phone, insurance, language course
