Requirements for Au Pair

  • You are aged between 18 and 30;
  • Be able to afford the return ticket
  • Stay a minimum of one year
  • Health/travel insurance is recommended for au pair
  • Visa may be required for non-EU au pairs or extra conditions like sufficient funds to cover your stay
  • No contact is needed for Sweden, however We Hive strongly recommends to use the official  EU contract template to formalize daily tasks

Requirements for Family

  • There are one or more children between 3 and under 18 living in your home
  • The au pair must have her own room
  • Allow the au pair to attend a language course
  • Daily working hours should not exceed 40 hours per week
  • Au pair is entitled to receive around 470 Euros per month
  • Allow for some extra spending like mobile phone, insurance, language course
  • No contact is needed for Sweden, however We Hive strongly recommends to use the official EU contract template to formalize daily tasks
