Requirements for Au Pair
- You are aged between 18 and 30;
- You are temporarily going to stay with a family in France in order to study French (more than 3 months)
- You must prove basic knowledge of the French language ( through secondary education or professional experience)
- You are willing to attend a language course
- Health/travel insurance is recommended for au pair
- Visa may be required for non-EU au pairs
- Contract is needed for France, you will find the template in our French contract section
Requirements for Family
- There are one or more children between 3 and under 18 living in your home
- The au pair must have her own room
- Tasks should be highlighted in the Au Pair contract
- Family should speak French
- Au pair stay should be at least for 3 months.
- Au pair should attend a language course.
- Au Pair salary should range between 307,50 € and 369,00 €
- Daily working hours should not exceed 5 hours
- Allow for some extra spending like mobile phone, insurance, language course
