Requirements for Au Pair
- You are aged between 18 and 30;
- Be able to afford the return ticket
- Stay a minimum of one year
- Health/travel insurance is recommended for au pair
- Visa may be required for non-EU au pairs or extra conditions like sufficient funds to cover your stay
- No contact is needed for Sweden, however We Hive strongly recommends to use the official EU contract template to formalize daily tasks
Requirements for Family
- There are one or more children between 3 and under 18 living in your home
- The au pair must have her own room
- Allow the au pair to attend a language course
- Daily working hours should not exceed 40 hours per week
- Au pair is entitled to receive around 470 Euros per month
- Allow for some extra spending like mobile phone, insurance, language course
