Visa Regulations

You are aged between 18 and 30;
Can’t be married or have children
Be able to pay for travel expenses
Basic knowledge of English
Health/travel insurance is recommended for au pair
Visa may be required for non-EU au pairs or extra conditions like sufficient funds to cover your stay
No Contact is compulsory for Ireland, however We Hive recommends to use the official EU contract template to formalize daily tasks

There are one or more children between 3 and under 18 living in your home
The au pair must have her own room
Family should speak English
Au pair stay should be at least for 3 months, can be less in the summer
Au pair should be given free time to attend language course
Daily working hours should not exceed 30 hours per week
Au pair is entitled to receive the minimum wage (around £12.70 per hour)
Allow for some extra spending like mobile phone, insurance, language course if needed
