Visa Regulations

You are aged between 18 and 30;
Not be married or have children
Good knowledge of Norwegian or English
Be able to afford the return ticket
Health/travel insurance is recommended for au pair
Visa may be required for non-EU au pairs or extra conditions like sufficient funds to cover your stay
Contract is compulsory for an au pair, please refer to the Norwegian contract

There are one or more children between 3 and under 18 living in your home
The au pair must have her own room
You have to completethe online course “The aim of the au pair programme” from the Norwegian government
Daily working hours should not exceed 30 hours per week
Au pair is entitled to receive around 520 Euros per month
Allow for some extra spending like mobile phone, insurance, language course
Contract is compulsory for an au pair, please refer to the Norwegian contract
